And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. (Mark 16:17-18)

The church is not weak. We are not meant to be mere symbols of what it means to follow Jesus. Jesus intended for us to perform miracles, signs, and wonders. But how? Not through our tradition, personality, or even our zeal. We are called to do the miraculous in the "name of Jesus."
Authority has been delegated to us. When Jesus said that He was given all authority in Heaven and on earth, He turned to His disciples and said, "Now you go." Casting out devils, speaking in tongues, healing the sick, and supernatural protection are all evidence that the authority of Jesus is alive and active through us, the body.
Healing is not about your power but about His authority working through you. When that happens, your hands become His hands when you use them in faith and obey the pull of the Holy Spirit.
The church was never meant to be a powerless gathering. Jesus promised that these signs would follow "believers"—not just pastors, evangelists, or apostles. You can use the name just as much as anyone with a title. Demonstrate the Kingdom.
Practical Application
Don't wait for a healing line. Lay your hands on a family member, coworker, friend, or even yourself, and declare the healing in the name of Jesus.
Matthew 28:18; Acts 5:16
