OPERATION DONATION–
OFFICE OF HOMELESS AND FOSTER CARE (OHFC)
IN-PERSON: Let’s ensure the educational rights of homeless and foster youth by removing barriers to school success. Make a significant impact in the lives of youth in the Detroit Public School system by donating Lotion, Toothpaste and Toothbrushes, Deodorant, Mouthwash, Body Wash, and Soap. Drop your donations in the bins located in the receptionist area and main sanctuary lobbies All donations must be received by Saturday, September 12th.

OPERATION DONATION
KIDS COALITION AGAINST HUNGER
ONLINE: Join us in supporting Kids Coalition for Hunger by donating meals for children in need. Each meal costs just 42¢ and provides nourishment and hope to a hungry child. Our goal is to donate and pack 10,000 meals, and with your help, we can make it happen. You donate—we pack! Once you register for operation donation a link will be emailed to you. Go to wordofaith.cc/serve to donate.

KIDS COALITION AGAINST HUNGER
*This event is open to families with youth and children of all ages
KCAH, works with a multitude of different organizations to produce a 390-gram food packet that provides enough nutrition for six adults or twelve kids. With this meal packing we will make an impact as we work together to feed children around the corner and around the world.

FISH AND LOAVES
Saturday Fresh Market is a program focused on providing fresh produce and dairy to the community. Every Saturday, people in need can drive thru at Fish & Loaves and receive 25 pounds of produce and dairy. On average, 750 cars are served each week.
Volunteer Task: Distributing food and dairy to cars during their drive thru event.

CASS COMMUNITY SOCIAL SERVICES
This Detroit-based agency works across the city in areas of concentrated poverty providing programs for food, health, housing, and jobs.
Volunteer Task: Assist their staff with yard work and Kitchen duties.

UDC serves as a catalyst in the revitalization of inner-city Detroit neighborhoods through the development of activities and programs which promote safe, drug-free, healthy, clean, beautiful, and enjoyable environments.

ANOTHER DAY RESOURCE CENTER
A nonprofit community resource organization with a desire to meet the needs of the community in practical ways from a Christ centered perspective. Whether its food, clothing, prayer, counseling, and mentoring; you name it and we are a resource for it.
Volunteer Task: Organizing donations, packing baskets, highlighting Bibles.

Keeping Families Close. Give families with a hospitalized child what they need most: each other. RMHC Ann Arbor provides a community of inclusive, compassionate, supportive programs and services that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
Volunteer Task: Prepare dinner for the house.

Genesis II is for homeless men seeking recovery from substance abuse and struggling to make ends-meet. – DRMM offers both transitional and permanent housing to prevent any return to homelessness and addiction. DRMM believes everyone deserves care, a warm meal and a safe place to rest your head.
