The Seed Is the Word of God

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. (Luke 8:11)
One sentence - that's all it takes to unlock it all. The seed is the Word of God. Whatever you've heard preached, whatever verse landed on you this week, or whatever you read during your quiet time is your seed. And that seed contains the power to produce anything in God’s Word.
When you think of a seed, you might think of something small, but this is not! A seed contains all the things that the fully grown plant will ever have, compressed into something that you can hold in your hand. In a bag, it doesn't look very impressive, and when it's just planted, it doesn't look much better either. All the potential is invisible at first. That's exactly how the Word works in you, too.
So don't judge how much a Word from God matters by how it feels the moment you hear it. Your feelings will lie to you and try to keep you from receiving what God wants to give you.
When you allow the Word to speak to you, a single verse heard on a random Sunday can carry an entire harvest, enough to bring whatever it holds into manifestation. One Word from God can change everything! But what that Word ultimately becomes depends entirely on what you do with it.
Practical Application
Write down one thing you've heard from the Word recently that felt small. Treat it like the seed it actually is and watch it bring forth fruit.
