The Heavens Preach

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. (Psalm 19:1-3)
Creation is constantly preaching about how good God is. The sky at sunset isn’t just beautiful; it’s intentionally speaking to us about the glory of its Creator. In fact, the word "declare" in Hebrew means to recount, to announce, or to score, and it implies repetition and boldness. Every star is a signal of His creative power. Every rainstorm echoes His handiwork. This is also why no one on earth can say they’ve never been exposed to God. Looking at a tree or seeing the stars in the sky is exposing you to His creative genius.
No matter what mankind attempts, we cannot surpass the Designer. From weather patterns to human biology, we are always studying and discovering new things, but we can never improve upon what God has created. That’s why when man tries to edit and manipulate God’s design, it often leads to chaos.
If God is a creative genius and designed a manual to tell you exactly how to operate in this world according to His parameters, it would make sense to read that manual. However, we often don’t do that. Have you ever bought an electronic device and started using it before reading the manual? Eventually, you reach a point where it doesn’t work as you expected, and sometimes we get upset with the manufacturer, only to realize the instructions were already there. You just didn’t read the manual.Â
God’s Word is the operational guide for success in life, purpose, and peace. God is the Creator, the Designer, and the only One who truly understands how the world works. When we follow His manual, we can expect to experience Heaven’s results.
Practical Application
When you go out today, take a moment to observe the sky. When you step outside at night, look at the stars. Let the heavens themselves remind you that you are not alone. The God who spun the very galaxies created everything and is guiding your life.
