But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. (Matthew 14:16-17)

God will never ask you to do anything He hasn’t already equipped you to handle. If God commands it, then all of Heaven’s authority supports it.
The disciples did what many believers tend to do: they looked at their natural limitations and told God it was impossible. The words they spoke revealed where their focus was and what their faith truly depended on. Their words could magnify their problems and diminish their miracles.
The enemy always wants to give you a microphone and encourage you to speak negatively. Lack loves to preach to you, encouraging doubt in God’s promises and cursing your future. You don’t defeat lack by thinking differently but rather by speaking differently. You must put words to your faith. Faith isn’t about what things look like in the natural. You’ll never fully understand what God is doing until it’s already accomplished. If you understood everything God was planning in advance, you wouldn’t need faith; you wouldn't develop patience or strength. Over the years, I’ve had many moments when I realized what we need isn’t always what we have naturally. We trust God and refuse to speak about our lack. When we step forward in His timing, with faith, somehow God always makes a way.
Practical Application
Be grateful for what you have and trust in what He is planning to do before you see it. Never let your mouth to speak about your lack. Believe that God has multiplication in store for you, not because you see it, but because He says it.
