For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. (Romans 5:6)

Time is something we all deal with. We have deadlines to meet, appointments to keep, and schedules to maintain. Because of this, the consensus of many is to rush to get done whatever is on our plate so we can get to the next thing. However, in Heaven, the concept of time isn’t the same as it is here on earth. There are no clocks, no watches, and no cell phones. Heaven lives in a realm beyond the speed of light.
I didn’t say there is no concept of time in Heaven; it’s just not the same as it is here on earth. God is more concerned with due time than an hour or day. God’s timing is crucial and there is a due time for everything He has planned. This due time is not just a concept for major events, but also for the little things in our daily lives.
Sometimes we know God put something on our hearts to do, but we don't do it right away. We procrastinate and delay, even when God is telling us to act because it is due season. When we wait, we may delay someone else's blessing and stop our own blessing too, because of our lack of obedience. We know the Word says as a man soweth that will he also reap. If you sow procrastination in obeying God, you are inviting someone else to walk in procrastination when God asks them to bless you. Therefore, it is important to obey God instantly, so that we do not miss the opportunity to bless others and receive blessings ourselves.
When we look back at our lives, we can see the truth that God's timing is perfect. He knows when the right time is for everything to happen. This means that when we are waiting on something from God, we need to trust that He will provide it at the right time. It may not be on our timeline, but we can have faith that God's timing is always perfect.
Practical Application
God knows what He is doing. Our job is to obey and do what He asks us to do. That includes being ready to step out immediately and act if that’s what we are directed to do. Be willing to wait or willing to do, trusting that His timing is always best.
