God Multiplies What We Sow

Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. (2 Corinthians 9:10-11)

God only multiplies the seed you actually sow, not the seed you keep in your hand. Multiplication isn’t based on what you have; it’s based on obedience.God provides the seed, and He increases the bread, but multiplication depends entirely on what you choose to release. While God is the ultimate source, we are the stewards of what He has entrusted to us.

The seed you hold represents your potential, but the seed you plant in the ground holds a future.

Paul was not talking about random acts of generosity; he was referring to divine purpose. Where you sow your seed matters; if God placed you in a church, He will also provide the means to sow into it. If God has assigned you a ministry to fulfill, He also intends to supply the resources needed to accomplish it. It might not seem like you have the supplies naturally, but if God called you to it, He will also sustain you through it.

Make sure you don’t sabotage your serving or your sowing with your words. Only agree with what God says.

Practical Application

Sow where God has directed you intentionally. Speak life over your finances and declare multiplication because you have aligned yourself with Kingdom purposes.

Isaiah 55:10; Genesis 1:11
