Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. (Psalm 50:23)

Praise is faith’s voice.

Psalm 50:23 speaks of ordering our conversation. There is an important difference between knowing the truth and making it the foundation of your life. Our words should match God’s Word, but we also need to live according to His Word.

This verse does not say, “Whoso understands praise…” It says, “Whoso offereth praise…”

That means that to witness the salvation God wants to bring you, you need to voice your praise aloud. Praise is participation with what God is doing. In fact, the word “conversation” in this verse means lifestyle, conduct, and pattern of living.

The word “ordereth” denotes arranging, setting in place, and intentionally aligning. When you make praising God a priority, God aligns your life with His plans.

What are God’s plans for you? First of all, His plan is your salvation. Not just saving from hell, but also deliverance, prosperity, and safety.

God says, “What kind of salvation do you need? When you praise, I will design your life in such a way that you will display my power and salvation to everyone around you.”

Praise opens the door for God to demonstrate who He is in your life.

The more frequently you praise instead of panicking, the more you will see that praise becomes a reflex rather than an intentional response. Your spirit and soul will naturally declare praises to God out of muscle memory when you prioritize praise.

Practical Application

Choose to praise before you feel like it. Make it a regular part of your life to praise God when you're tempted to complain, to declare His glory when you're frustrated with people, and to speak your faith instead of voicing fear. When you practice this, your soul will follow the routine you establish with your declarations. Praise will become your lifestyle.
