So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. (Mark 16:19)
Jesus wasn’t resting when He sat at the right hand of God; it was a declaration of His absolute victory. His sitting didn’t come from exhaustion but from the expectation that believers would now operate in His authority. The question is — if Jesus is seated, then who is standing? We are. Jesus is planning for the church to rise up and enforce what He has already won.
Every time you use the Name of Jesus as delegated authority, pray in the Spirit with expectation, or speak the Word in faith, you are standing in the authority that Jesus sat in, keeping the enemy under His feet.If all authorities and demonic powers are under Jesus, then as the body of Christ, they are under us too. That means your everyday, “ordinary” life is meant to be marked by extraordinary results. Favor follows you, demons flee, and Heaven’s way is revealed when you speak and act in faith.
Supernatural ministry should not be reserved for Sunday mornings but rather it should be part of the believer’s lifestyle. You are called to live a life where His super is on your natural.
Practical Application
Remember, when you pray, you're not begging from the earth below, hoping that someone above hears you. You are reigning on high with Christ. Every prayer, every declaration, every time you speak the Word of God, you should have the mindset that Jesus has already finished the work. Pray as one who is reigning.
