The Prayer of Faith for Healing

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. (Mark 11:23-24)
Mark 11:23-24 is what we call the prayer of faith. The prayer of faith is a prayer that every believer can pray for anything that this within the will of God. This is not a prayer for people, but a prayer for things or situations. For example, you can pray the prayer of faith for healing in your body. In fact, you can pray for anything with the prayer of faith that you can find in the Word. The Word of God is the will of God, and anything found therein is something you can pray the prayer of faith about. The Bible has many Scriptures about God’s will to heal, so we do not need to pray if it is God’s will. We know His will from His Word:
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 2:24)
We see it in the Word so we know it’s God’s will to heal!Recently, a pastor that lives in another state had a medical emergency and was headed to the hospital. As they were on the way, the Holy Spirit brought to his remembrance James 5:14-15, where James said to ask the elders to pray the prayer of faith. He called me (as his elder) and we prayed together. When I prayed, I didn’t hope God would do something. I didn’t wonder whether it would happen. We both knew God’s will regarding healing! By the time he arrived at the hospital, he was healed.
Practical Application
Pray the prayer of faith over your body and know that it’s God’s will for you to be healed, healthy, and whole.
