The Potent Potential and Power of the Seed

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear. (Luke 8:8)
Every believer should expect a hundredfold return. That’s what I want. Don’t you? When we treat the Word of God properly, believing for a hundredfold return is not greedy or wrong. Jesus said we could receive a hundredfold return.
You know, one seed planted into the ground doesn’t simply bear one fruit. That seed produces a tree that yields multiple fruits. One seed has the potential to become a whole grove of trees, each producing fruit and seeds at an exponential rate.
You can’t see the potential of a seed from its size because the potency of the seed is determined by what is inside.
What has God deposited into you? Everything God has given you, including finances, talents, connections, influence, or time, is a seed with a potent potential that, if sown into the kingdom with purpose, will bear more than just one harvest. Your seed will produce multiple harvests when you sow with the right heart.
Practical Application
- A seed will meet any need. God has given you seed in your life to sow with purpose into the kingdom. Do it. Sow it. Give it and see a return that goes far beyond the amount that you sow.
