How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)

This verse offers a glimpse into how Jesus carried out His earthly ministry. He was anointed and empowered by the Holy Ghost. That anointing was the Holy Spirit's power resting on Him and flowing through Him. Wherever Jesus went, the anointing produced results: the sick were healed, demon-possessed people were delivered, and the oppressed were set free. This was not just because Jesus was the Son of God, but it was because He was anointed with the Holy Ghost and power.

Here's what most believers overlook: that same anointing is accessible to you.Jesus did not rely on natural wisdom or human strength; He depended on the Holy Ghost. The same Spirit that came upon Him at the Jordan empowered Him to complete His mission. That anointing was what set apart knowing God's will from commanding it to come to pass. You possess the same divine endowment that Jesus had in Acts 10:38.  Mark 16 states that believers will lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Why? Because you have the anointing. You have Holy Ghost power living inside you. The anointing isn't just for a few; it’s for every believer who has received the Holy Spirit. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you.

Practical Application

If you feel intimidated by a position or opportunity, remind yourself aloud, "I am anointed by the Holy Ghost. The same power that was in Jesus is in me." Believe it and act on it.

Acts 2:22; Luke 4:18
