And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. (Romans 8:27)

The Holy Spirit is our Helper and Guide in prayer. When we pray in tongues, we allow the Holy Spirit to pray through us, and He intercedes for us according to the will of God. When we pray in tongues, we are praying in the Spirit, and the Spirit knows the perfect will of God for our lives.

Many times, we don't know what to pray for, or we may not know the will of God for a particular situation. However, when we pray in tongues, we allow the Holy Spirit to take control of our prayers, and He prays the perfect will of God for us. Praying in tongues is an important part of our spiritual walk, and it helps us to stay in tune with the Holy Spirit.

The more we pray in tongues, the more we will see the power of God manifest in our lives.

Personally, I have noticed the more I pray in tongues, the more stuff happens - the more things work out and the helpers show up. When we pray in tongues, we invite the Holy Spirit to move in our lives and bring about the change that we need.

Also, when we pray in tongues, we are building ourselves up in the spirit. It’s like a spiritual work out, the more you do it, the more sensitive you will be to the supernatural realm and the easier it is to pay attention to what God is doing. Then you become more adept at following the direction of the Holy Spirit. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 14:4, “He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself.” When we pray in tongues, we strengthen our spirit and build our faith.

Praying in tongues is a powerful tool God has given us to communicate with Him. As we pray in tongues, we allow the Holy Spirit to take control of our prayers and intercede for us according to the will of God. When we pray in tongues, we build ourselves up in the Spirit and strengthen our faith. I encourage you to pray in tongues regularly, and you will see the power of God manifest in your life.

Practical Application

Do you pray in tongues regularly? Have you made a habit to do this daily? Purpose to spend time every day praying in the Spirit and build yourself up.

Ephesians 2:18; James 5:16
