Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? (Romans 11:12)

Paul's use of the phrase much more emphasizes the immeasurable greatness of Israel's future fullness. God is not done with Israel; there is more to come in Israel’s future. The riches that have already been poured out through their history will pale compared to the overflowing abundance that will be unleashed when Israel embraces the Messiah.

The inclusion of the Gentiles in God's plan is a genuine cause for celebration. We have been grafted into the promises and riches of the Kingdom of Heaven, yet we must remember that it’s not just about us. We should rejoice in anticipation of the unity we will have with our Jewish brothers and sisters.

Our hope is anchored in the promise that when Israel embraces their Messiah, a wave of unprecedented blessings will flow not only to them but also to the entire world! Let this hope ignite a longing in our hearts and shape our prayers for the salvation of Israel.

Christians should always pray for the peace of Jerusalem and never be anti-Semitic. We recognize that our salvation is a result of both God's love and the faithfulness of Israel's ancestors. Abraham’s covenant with God made the way for our New Covenant in Jesus’ blood.

Practical Application

God is a God of restoration. He has not given up on Israel and He doesn’t give up on you. When you miss God’s perfect will, be quick to repent and turn to Him. Trust that He will fulfill His promises and bring about their fullness in due time.

Micah 4:1; Zechariah 8:20
