From Faith to Faith

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Romans 1:16-17)

The Gospel is the power of God. It is neither weak nor outdated. Paul explained that he was unashamed because he knew that the gospel holds power. The word "power" is dunamis and means the supernatural ability of God at work in your life. Additionally, the word "salvation" includes more than just being forgiven of sins. It signifies wholeness, deliverance, safety, and healing.
Paul described righteousness as being right with God. This isn't achieved through works, effort, or education; it's a revelation given as the Spirit shows you who you are and what is available in Christ.
The more you operate in faith, the more you see the Kingdom of God in action. Faith develops "from faith to faith," or from one level to the next. As you hear, receive, believe, speak, and act on the Word, your understanding increases, and so does your ability to operate in faith—taking you from glory to glory. Faith is a journey that we are called to grow in as we follow God.
Practical Application
Don't settle for yesterday's level of faith. Keep speaking, moving forward, and standing firm; let God show you new depths of His Kingdom.
Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 3:21
