FIVE WAYS TO GIVE
Dear Word of Faith Family,
As Leaders, we have been deliberating on what is the wisest and most responsible thing to do for our church.
In lieu of the increasing number of cases of COVID-19 this past week, we have decided the best thing for our congregation is to bring service online. This means, we do NOT meet physically at Word of Faith for service, but stay home and worship online together through our Word of Faith App or our website at wordoffaith.cc.
Our plan is to do so starting this weekend until further notice. Going online is a temporary measure. We look forward to the day when the situation stabilizes, and we can meet together for service again. Meanwhile, we are monitoring the situation closely and will keep you all updated.
This is not an easy decision for us to make—you know that we love coming together as the body of Christ to worship the Lord. But our congregation is not small, and we have members young and old. As leaders, we feel strongly we must do what we can to protect our flock during this time.
Our faith is not shaken. As a church, we continue to hold on to God’s promises in His Word, that “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” (Psalm 91:1). KJV However, it is wise to be prudent and socially responsible.
Having our services online will also help us make sure church can go on during this time. We are grateful to the Lord we have our online facilities so that we can stay connected for our midweek and weekend service through the Internet.
We will be preparing the service to be broadcast at our usual meeting times: on Sundays at 10:30 and Wednesdays at 7pm. Do join us for service with your family and worship the Lord at the same time.
We encourage you to stay connected with us and get information throughout the week via our app, email, and all of our email social media platforms, .etc. and keep each other in prayer. Your pastors and leaders continue to be available for you during this time.
You can submit your prayer requests online. Continue to meditate on the Word, and we have provided a free download of a message the Lord gave me at our midweek service on the subject of Psalms 91.
As we take this step in faith, let us trust in the Lord that He will protect our families, our church, and our nation, and lead us through this time.
Thank you, Word of Faith. See you online.
