Supernatural Knowledge of the Truth

In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Colossians 2:3)

I regularly have people approach me and request prayer for more wisdom about a matter they are currently facing.

I understand, and I will pray with them, but I will also show them what the Bible says about wisdom. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says, “who [Jesus] of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”

The truth is you already have access to all of the wisdom you will ever need. Instead of searching for that wisdom, tap into Jesus.

Paul said in Colossians 2:3 that in Christ were hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Knowledge is merely knowing the facts. However, in our world, there are fake facts presented to us all of the time. You need Jesus to help you differentiate between what is an actual fact and what is a made-up fact. Making decisions based on fake facts causes many people to destroy their lives and testimonies.

When Jesus died and rose again, He unlocked the treasure box to all knowledge by opening the door to our relationship with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will teach you all things and give you knowledge from the Word of God and insights into the true nature of what is going on in the world.

Practical Application – When you are not sure about what to believe about a personal situation or something on the national news or social media, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you what the truth is. Thank Him for it even before you receive it.

Romans 11:33; Ephesians 1:17
