Reconciled Ambassadors

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2 Corinthians 5:19-21)

As Christians, we are called to be ambassadors for Christ, to share the message of reconciliation that God has given to us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Reconciliation is a powerful message of mercy, hope, and grace! God has made a way for us to come back to Him, even though we sinned and have done wrong. He did so by putting our sins upon Jesus, who knew no sin, so that we would become the righteousness of God in Him.

It's important to understand that this is not just a matter of religion, or of following forms and customs. Christianity is an experience with Someone who is alive right now! We worship a risen Savior and the living Prince of Peace, who, through His blood, paid the price for our sins.

In a world that is increasingly skeptical of religion and divided by various beliefs and practices, it's important to remember the simple truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to be saved. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. As Christians, we need to pray for our nation and its leaders, that they may come to know the truth of the Gospel and turn to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Let us be bold and faithful ambassadors for Christ, sharing the message of reconciliation with the world. Let us not be ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes.

Also, remember that we are not alone in this task. God is with us. Jesus promised He would be with us until the end of the age and that where He is, the Father is also!

We can stand with confidence and joy, knowing that we serve a risen Savior who is here, with us, co-laboring together to increase the Kingdom everywhere we go.

Practical Application

Actively pursue your role as an ambassador of Christ by intentionally building relationships with non-believers, sharing your personal testimonies, and giving of your time, your energy and effort to serve others. It's important to remember that sharing the Gospel doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating. Sometimes, it's as simple as listening to someone's struggles and sharing with them what the Holy Ghost speaks through you to say.
