Receiving the Rewards

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

What type of reward will you have when you get to heaven? 2 Corinthians 5:10 tells us that every one of us must appear and be judged by Christ.

Now, if you have accepted Christ, that judgment isn't about the sins of your past. You have already been redeemed; His blood has blotted out every wrongdoing recorded about you in the book of life.

This judging isn’t about your mistakes; it’s about your rewards. There is a reward waiting for you for the good deeds you have done for kingdom purposes. Your reward is not based merely on the things you have accomplished. The good works done by the ministries and churches you have partnered with will also be counted in your accomplishments.

I am a partner with a number of different ministries, and I get excited when I hear that they ministered to 1 million people or saw miraculous healings taking place because that means in God’s eyes, I did it too. If you are a partner with me and have given into my traveling ministry or my church, you will be rewarded for every soul we reach!

When you stand before God, you will get a reward for every ministry, every church and every minister you have partnered with.

Practical Application – Have you considered partnering in a way you haven’t normally given? Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart about where you should give to be a part of accomplishing great things for the kingdom.
