Peace with God and Peace from God

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (Romans 5:1-2)

Peace is more than tranquility. When people think of peace, they often think of a quiet river or a gentle meadow somewhere in the middle of nowhere. That’s not really what the Bible means when it uses the term peace.

Peace means nothing missing and nothing broken.

We have peace with God because of Jesus. Peace with God doesn’t mean that we aren’t warring with Him. It means that He will fix anything in our lives that is broken and replace anything that is missing. Sin no longer separates us. We can approach His throne of grace with boldness because we have peace with God.

Not only were we granted peace with God, but Jesus also gave us access to use the peace of God. We can apply God’s nothing missing, nothing broken power to any area of our lives. Are you feeling the symptoms of sickness trying to show up? Declare the peace of God immediately over your body.

Is your bank account not looking the way that it needs to for you to fulfill the calling of God on your life? Speak peace over your bank account - nothing is missing, and nothing broken. How about your relationships? Your sleep? Your nerves? Your mind?

You have been given access to the peace of God and can declare the nothing missing, nothing broken power on anything over which you have authority.

Practical Application – Declare peace over any part of your life that is lacking or broken. Stand in faith, and God’s peace will change things on your behalf.

Isaiah 26:3; Galatians 5:22
