God’s Word Is True
God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
Many people have become lazy when it comes to using the five elements of faith. They go to their pastor and ask him to pray for them or lay hands on them. Yes, pastors should do that, and most of them do, but many times, the problem in your life has nothing to do with the amount of or the kind of prayer your pastor prays for you. You can’t expect your pastor or another faith leader to pray a “perfect” prayer so that all of your problems disappear. That is a fairy tale, not the Word of God.
Generally, the issue in people’s faith lives boil down to their willingness to act on the Word they have heard, received, believed, and spoken.
If there is ever failure in your life, it is never because of God; it is because of you. When you don’t get the results you want, you are the problem.
God speaks the truth and only truth. God says His will is for you to be blessed; that is His perfect plan. God says you are the healed and not the sick; you are above only and not beneath; that is His perfect plan. When you speak in opposition to God's Word because of what you see, feel, or think, who is the liar - God or you?
So, let me ask you, how are you acting on the Word you believe?
Practical Application – Believe God's Word above what you feel, hear, see, or think. God's Word is true, regardless of situations, circumstances, or emotions. Trust God's Word.
