Do You Believe It?
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. (Mark 11:24-25)
God’s Word is true all the time, every time.
If you are not seeing what God’s Word says come to pass in your life, it's not God's Word that has problems; it is you.
Jesus taught a valuable lesson while on this earth about receiving anything from God. In Mark 11:24, He said, “When ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
There are three steps listed in that Scripture.
First, you need to pray. Don’t just think it; speak your requests boldly before God and pray what the Word says. You need to spend time asking God for His help with what you are believing for.
Second, you believe that you receive. You need to act like it’s already so. Start laughing at the devil and rejoice about what God has done. Praise God that the need is met with abundance, in the name of Jesus.
Third, the verse simply says that ye shall have them. In other words, once you do the first two things, you begin looking for the opportunity that God will arrange for you to take possession of whatever you are believing for.
Practical Application – Take these steps today. Study Scripture and pray it out loud. Act as if you have already received it, and actively look for God’s provision to show up. God wants to bless your life.
