Being Led is How We Live
Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis; And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days. (Acts 16:11-12)
Philippi is in the northeast part of Greece. We currently have ministry works in Greece with both a Bible School and KBM European headquarters in Athens. We are working on opening another church in Corinth as well. The population of Greece is eleven million people; only about thirty-thousand of them are saved.
Our ministry is in Greece for the same reason Paul was sent there in Acts 16 - because the Holy Spirit directed our ministry to go there, to teach the truth of the Word, and see Greece saved.
Paul didn’t decide on his own to go to Greece, and neither did we. He followed the direction of the Holy Spirit to establish the works when and where God said. I have built my ministry the same way.
Don't try to do your own thing and then ask God to bless what you already made up your mind to do. Paul was careful to submit every move to the direction of the Holy Spirit. He didn't move ahead without God's approval; we should all conduct our lives and ministries in the same way.
The success my ministry has achieved didn't come from man's wisdom or ability; it has everything to do with hearing, receiving, and submitting to the direction of the Holy Spirit.
Practical Application – Being led by the Holy Spirit is how every believer should live. When you follow Him and allow God to direct your steps, your life will reflect His goodness.
