Bishop Keith A. Butler
Keith Butler was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1974. He earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan, a diploma from RHEMA Bible in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and was awarded a honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He founded and is Pastor of Word of Faith International Christian Center in 1979. In 1989, he founded the School of Ministry today called Pistis to train ministers and has graduated over 1,000 who minister worldwide.
In addition while Pastoring Word of Faith the people of Detroit elected him in a citywide vote to serve on the nine member Detroit city council where he served four years before receiving a assignment from our Lord to plant churches across America.
Today thru or because of this, churches have been planted from one coast to the other. In addition to churches in Africa and Europe. He travels worldwide teaching the word.
He enjoys the support of his lovely wife, Pastor Deborah L. Butler, and their children: Pastor Andre Butler and wife Tiffany (granddaughters Alexis, Angela, & April), Pastor MiChelle and Pastor Lee Ferguson, and Minister Kristina Jenkins and husband Joel.
Pastor Deborah Butler
Pastor Deborah L. Butler is the first lady of Word of Faith Int'l Christian Center, where she serves in ministry with her husband, Bishop Keith A. Butler. She and Bishop Butler remain Founders of Word of Faith International Christian Center located in Southfield, Michigan.
Pastor Deborah is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel. Her encouraging, yet down-to-earth teaching imparts wisdom from the Word of God into all that hear her speak. One of Pastor Butler’s many duties is serving as the Director of the Women of Virtue Ministry at both Faith4Life Church locations in Texas. Pastor Deborah is often called to travel to other ministries to teach and admonish women to walk in the wisdom of God, and to experience peace in every area of their lives.
Pastor Michelle Ferguson
Michelle Ferguson is a dynamic minister of the Gospel, conference speaker and author. She has had to constantly rise above criticism, unrealistic and unfair expectations. As a result, she has a unique ability to deliver the Word of God in a way that keeps it real, funny, yet applicable to daily life.
A graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, MiChelle is co-pastor along with her father, Bishop Keith Butler of Word of Faith International Christian Center. Her down to earth style of preaching and knowledge of the Scriptures is sure to inspire everyone who hears.
MiChelle is also CEO of MiChelle Ferguson Ministries, a ministry established to minister to all, especially women. It is through MFMthat God uses her passion for creative arts to ignite people to rise above negative circumstances. It is MiChelle’s intense desire to help you discover, develop and celebrate who God created you to be. MiChelle and her husband Pastor Lee Ferguson both serve at Word of Faithand they reside in metro Detroit with their son Lucas.
Pastor Lee Ferguson
Pastor Lee Ferguson Is Licensed and Ordained at Word of Faith International Christian Center and serves as the Worship Arts Director. As a mighty minister of the gospel he has preached throughout the world since 1994. Lee was raised in church and groomed for ministry. He always knew it was his life mission to carry the message of Jesus Christ to the world. After realizing he was born on purpose and for a purpose, Lee passionately committed his life, under the tutelage of his father, to give hope to those who had none.
Lee’s uncommon background has opened doors for him to lead in multiple roles. By the time he was sixteen, he was preaching in District and National Conventions across the UK in front of thousands. He led youth ministry throughout various ministerial organizations across the UK. He ministers at seminars, conferences and ministerial workshops. Lee has also led ministry in prisons, youth hostels and college campuses. Lee has led pastoral roles and has spent his life preaching in Europe, as well as in Africa, the Caribbean, and America. He has made radio and television appearances.
Known for his practical way of preaching, Lee captivates audiences with strong Bible teaching and life lessons that bring listeners out of dark places into the Light of Jesus Christ. His unique background enables him to minister the Gospel with clarity and makes it easy for audiences to understand that Jesus is “real.”
Lee connects with people all over the world with the Gospel that brings light in dark places, igniting hope and confidence.

Minister Kristina Jenkins, Esq.
Minister Kristina Jenkins is the youngest daughter of Bishop Keith & Pastor Deborah Butler. During her senior year of high school she was led by God to turn down a full academic scholarship to the University of Michigan in order to attend Bible school. She is a 2001 graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center and a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel.
After graduating from Bible school and subsequently college and serving in the ministry for a season, Kristina was led to pursue a law degree at the University of Michigan Law School. She is a licensed attorney in the State of Michigan and serves alongside her family as Corporate Counsel and as a Staff Minister at Word of Faith International Christian Center.
Kristina passionately encourages young people to be independent of this world's system and to be dependent on God by pursuing Him with all of their hearts. Her heart's desire is to see all people come into the knowledge of the truth, and live like the champions that God has created them to be in every area of life.
